Analisis Produktivitas Kerja Pegawai dalam Pelayanan Publik di Kantor Kecamatan Tanjungpinang Kota

Abstract

Productivity is a condition or situation that describes the fulfillment of the needs of an organization to improve the work performance of its members in quantity and quality. The purpose of the study was to analyze and determine the work productivity of employees in public services at the Tanjungpinang Kota District Office. In conducting this research, the author used a qualitative research approach. The author collects data using observation, interview and secondary research techniques then processed and analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the work productivity of employees in public services was quite good but not maximized. This is measured by 5 indicators including work motivation, work discipline, skills, income and adequate production factors (facilities and infrastructure). The provision of motivation given by the Camat to his employees can be said to be good, all employees at the Tanjungpinang Kota Sub-District Office are very diligent and always come on time, all employees at the Tanjungpinang Kota Sub-District Office are very adept at doing or completing their work according to their skills, providing incentives by the Camat as the leader is still said to be in a simple form such as providing holiday allowances (THR) while for other incentives there are none. For overtime work employees do not get overtime pay even though they work past office hours, infrastructure needs to be a concern because office work can be successful if it is supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure.
