Abstract

If Generation Z actively participates and casts their votes in an informed manner, they have a great opportunity to influence a more progressive and inclusive political future. They may influence the political agenda and demand change by engaging in the political process. For Gen Z voters, participation and informed voting are valuable in the fields of political science and sociology. It is important to understand how Generation Z evaluates and prioritizes political information and how the quality of that information affects their ability to cast an educated vote. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out how Generation Z contributes to the policy-making process in order to develop a more inclusive and responsive service delivery model. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to data collection through a literature study. The findings of this research lead to the conclusion that Gen Z has shown a high level of engagement in politics and social issues in addition to voicing their thoughts on social media and online forums. If Generation Z remains engaged and active in the democratic process, they have the potential to become a major force in political and societal change thanks to their large number of votes.
