Abstract

In organizations, gender inequality persists, especially at the highest levels of leadership, this can be an obstacle for  women in achieving leadership positions equal to men, Social and cultural factors have the potential to influence women's ability to achieve leadership positions policies and regulations in government organizations also have an impact on women's opportunities and access to leadership positions, This includes balance policies gender that increases women's representation at all levels of the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine gender differences in leadership. This research uses a literature study method, referring to research journals that support the understanding of gender differences in leadership. The results of this study show that although women play an important role in leadership, they still face challenges such as limited access to top positions and gender pay gaps. Global efforts to address gender inequality in the workplace were also highlighted, including aspects of training, participation in decision-making, and their impact on women's career development.
