Analisis Persepsi Pasien Rawat Inap terhadap Peraturan Kelas Rawat Inap Standar (KRIS) di Rumah Sakit Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi

The Standardized Inpatient Class (KRIS) policy is part of the National Health Insurance (JKN) system transformation aimed at improving equality in inpatient facilities for all BPJS Kesehatan participants. However, the transition to a standardized ward model has triggered diverse responses from the public, particularly among inpatients. This study aims to analyze patient perceptions of the KRIS policy at Ibnu Sina Islamic Hospital, Bukittinggi. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, involving 21 informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation studies to ensure data richness. The collected data were then analyzed using Thematic Analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006), comprising stages of data familiarization, coding, and theme development. The results indicate that while the BPJS Kesehatan program is highly valued for its financial benefits and the sense of security it provides, most patients lack adequate knowledge regarding the KRIS policy due to insufficient socialization at the healthcare facility level. This lack of information has led to concerns regarding potential declines in comfort and privacy, especially among former Class 1 and 2 participants. Despite these concerns, all informants expressed their commitment to remaining BPJS participants due to its significant financial advantages. This study emphasizes the urgent need for enhanced socialization, the provision of facilities that meet standardized requirements, and the readiness of hospitals to maintain high-quality medical services before the full implementation of KRIS.
