Efektivitas Pelayanan Publik pada Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dalam Prinsip Good Governance

The effectiveness of public services by the state civil apparatus (ASN) is one indicator of the successful implementation of the concept of good governance. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of public services in the state civil apparatus (ASN) in applying the principles of good governance. Good governance, which includes transparency, accountability, participation, responsiveness, and fairness, is the foundation in creating quality public services that meet the needs of the community. However, the application of these principles to public services by ASN often faces obstacles, such as slow bureaucracy, lack of transparency, and low accountability and responsiveness to community needs. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature studies and secondary data analysis obtained from various scientific articles, government reports, and related regulations. The results show that despite efforts to improve service quality, there are still significant challenges in achieving the effectiveness of public services, such as the lack of training for civil servants, the unsuitability of the evaluation system, and barriers in communication between the government and the community. Therefore, more assertive policies and reforms are needed to improve ASN professionalism and a more responsive and accountable service system.
